Who we support?
First Responders Children’s Foundation
1stRCF supports families of first responders who are enduring financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. The organization is supporting and awarding children with college scholarships due to the loss of a first responder parent in line of duty. Recently Smiling Rocks has launched a lab grown diamond heart pendant and lapel pin to support the frontline responders during the Covid-19 period. 50% of the sales goes to the responder’s families through the organization.
Trees for the Future
This organization is on a mission to improve the livelihoods of improvised farmers by revitalizing degraded lands. It is building a forest garden in the farmer’s land as not only to support the environment but to also provide a reliable source of nutrition and income in Africa. This reality would create a sustainable food system too in our society.
Smiling Rocks together with Trees for the Future have planted 60,000 trees and more to come! We have also had a chance to interview the Deputy Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Andrew Zacharias. It was a fruitful conversation to understand how they operate and how it helps the environment and climate we are living in today.
Smile Network
Smile Network is an organization that provides life-altering reconstructive surgeries and healthcare services to improvised children and adults in developing countries. With $500, one children’s life can be changed with volunteer doctors performing a 45 minutes surgery on a cleft lips. This life changing surgery can boast the kid’s well being and self-esteem when growing up in the society they live in. We have supported 4 children and are on a mission to support more kids.
