Smiling Rocks Partners with Sewa International
Sewa International is a Hindu faith-based, humanitarian, nonprofit service organization registered under Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (3). Founded in 2003, Sewa International is part of a larger movement that started in India in 1989 and is active in twenty countries. Sewa specialize in disaster relief and rehabilitation. Their development programs focus on family services; child, tribal and refugee welfare; women empowerment; health; and education.
Smiling Rock is working with Sewa International and are sponsoring Children’s education and wellbeing through Sponsor a Child program in India. This program founds on a holistic philosophy to span education, health, physical and cultural development of the child. Smiling Rocks has supported children in India and provided full scholarship for their education term.
Sewa, a well-experienced organization is supporting children from Rural areas in both under-developing and developed countries providing support for tuition fees, in-class education equipment, uniforms for children and school kits.
Smiling Rocks hope to empower the children and support parents with financial difficulties. Together with Sewa, we hope to rebuild lives and strengthen the children’s confidence in education and a holistic development of a child.
