Smiling Rocks partners with One Tree Planted
One Tree Planted is a 501C3 non-profit organization with a focus on GLOBAL REFORESTATION. As an environmental charity, they are dedicated to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world.
Trees are very important and a vital element to have cleaner air, filter the water we drink and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. They also provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
Smiling Rocks is supporting One Tree Planted with their RCD 2021 restoration project that focuses on Forest Fire restoration in California. Recently, the world has experienced Forest Fire in the biggest Amazons in the world and devastated by the aftermath. California's forests provide innumerable benefits, including clean water and air, recreation, habitat, and beautiful scenery. Healthy forests also play an important role in addressing climate change. Smiling Rocks is on a mission to support with Reforestation through our Carbon for Carbon Campaign.
Each tree planted is contributing to our Carbon for Carbon campaign where Smiling Rocks hopes to create a zero carbon footprints of our consumers through their purchase. With each purchase contributing to Environment Protection, Smiling Rocks will plant trees from the 10% of the sales revenue from the purchased jewelry.
